ABSTRACT
The development of an integrated methodology for designing long term monitoring (LTM) plans and its application in decision support tools are presented. The purpose of this research is to optimize an existing LTM program and to reduce the cost of the program while maintaining or increasing the quality and effectiveness of data collection. The methods developed in this research are implemented in a decision support framework on a personal computer using a Windows environment.
