ABSTRACT
Environmental tracers contain valuable information about the hydraulic properties of aquifers. However, making full use of this information is not trivial. Proper interpretation requires recognizing that water samples contain a distribution ages. When this is taken into account, simultaneous use of several tracers allows identifying the existence of preferential flow paths.
