ABSTRACT

We developed an simulation model to deduce the hydrodynamic parameters from porous media. The model delivers a 3D sphere agglomeration with different grain-size distributions and the resulting pore space geometry. In this pore space we compute fluid flow and transport of dissolved constituents and particles. The statistic analysis of the simulation results provides us with the possibility to derive the hydrodynamic parameters, such as specific permeability, dispersivity, tortuosity.
