ABSTRACT

The first results from a tracer experiment in unsaturated fractured clayey till are presented. The set-up used is a 3.5×3.5×3.8 m isolated till block with a 3 m unsaturated zone. A rain-making device supply the block with different water intensities and four drains at the bottom of the block control the water level. At different water intensities, multiple tracers are applied and monitored in the four drains, giving area-integrated breakthrough curves.
