ABSTRACT
In order to study redox behaviour and related transport behaviour of arsenate and arsenite, column experiments were performed under conditions of iron reduction by catechol. The results reveal different processes, in particular the reduction of As(V) by catechol and a reoxidation of As(m) on iron hydroxide.
