ABSTRACT
The education system in Sweden is outlined briefly. It starts out by summarizing the pre-University educational system. Thereafter the different levels of undergraduate and graduate education is discussed, focusing teaching in Geotechnical Engineering. An outline of the different post-graduate education is also given. Finally, some trends in Sweden in engineering education is discussed.
