Some experience after lecturing on ground improvement at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian Technical University in Gliwice

In the paper author presents contribution of geotechnics to the program of the studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian Technical University in Gliwice. Then the schedule of ground improvement which has been introduced to a day — studies schedule for seven years now is presented in detail. The idea for introducing ground improvement for the program of the studies was thought by the authors as an experiment. Now, after the first experiences we noticed that it was a good idea.
