ABSTRACT
The present paper is divided into two parts. The introduction, which is the first part of it, gives a short presentation of the postgraduate level of study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Maribor. The second part represents an illustrative example of the author’s seminar work during his study at the postgraduate level at the above-mentioned faculty. It is serving now as an introduction to solve dynamical soil-structure interaction problems.
