ABSTRACT
At the moment student exchange programs between universities of different countries is rapidly expanding. This is partly due to the effort of organisations such as the European Community, and also due to the student’s desire to obtain a broader and more valuable degree for his future career. The aim of this report is to discuss the important considerations for encouraging further exchanges, whereby the student is not penalised by his year abroad, and the home university still retains control and independence.
