ABSTRACT

The problem of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy waste’ refining is one of the most actual capital investment directions. For effective selecting mining-metallurgical waste refining investment projects and considering waste refining specifics the new method has been developed, containing modified criterion set and created mechanism for projects selection.

User preferences assignment and selection of investment projects, which finalize the selection procedure, are based on the modified reasonable goals method to decrease the amount of information, required from a decision-maker, to accelerate and ease the effective projects distinguishing process on account of using graphic visualization of criterions trade-off curves and weighted Chebyshev’s metric.

The investment projects assessment model, based on the selection mechanism created, allows to perform the optimal investment projects choice for financing and to decrease considerably the subjectivity of projects’ assessment. Instrumental means for the selection mechanism have been developed in Visual Studio 6 using Visual Market 2 program modules.
