ABSTRACT

The following paper presents the changes in the state of stress around the crossing of dog headings. Because of the 3-dimensional character of the aspect the calculations have been carried out using numerical method for 3-dimensional model. The tensor analysis of the state of stress and assumed failure criterion allowed to work out the range of zones of increased stress in the area of the crossing.

There is possible to verify obtained state of stress in the rock mass around workings by in situ research, using borehole endoscope. It enables to estimate the height of cracked zone along the dog-heading axis.
