ABSTRACT

This paper develops integrated Intelligent System Thinking (1ST) methodology to research on the structure disaster response in soft-rock roadway. In accordance with the situation observation result and non-linearity physical resemble simulacrum ending, an integrated tool--Knowledge-Discovery Database (KDD) system has been developed for assessing, monitoring, practical supporting design, reinforcement, and enhancing the stability. Based on the principle of artificial neural network (ANN), the nonlinear dynamical behaviors of neural network systems, its relation with the function of the networks and applications in mining science and engineering are summarized. And the application of ANN for non-linear prediction stress damage and its stability during driving soft-rock roadway and supporting decision are discussed. In terms of numerical simulation, it is made to be practical and to succeed in predicting support stability.
