ABSTRACT
Coal resource condition is essential to determine the exploiting scheme and effect. How to understand it truly and entirely is the key issue for rational exploitation and utilization of coal resource. During the past several years, on the basis of the experience obtained from coal mines, the authors have developed a set of information management and decision support system for coal resource, combining graph drawing, data management, model establishing and assisting decisions together. In this system, coal resource condition evaluation, classification and predication, tech-economic analysis and exploiting decision are synthetically united. The practicability, pertinence and accuracy of evaluating result are also remarkably strengthened. The paper mainly introduces the achievement of this system in resource evaluation and management, including the constitution, main functions, the design and main applications of the system. Finally it puts forward some measures and approaches that make the system well applied and popularized.
