Fault recognition based on improved BP neural network

As faults in the mining section have great effect on production of working face, they must be recognized before mining. Based on the improved BP neural network analysis, five seismic characteristic parameters are adopted to recognize faults. The results indicate that improved BP neural network is an effective tool for fault recognition.
