ABSTRACT

For the modeling of mining operations development the authors apply discrete methods on the basis of which the technological blocks lie. In depending of a level of planning period it is winning blocks, excavation or explosive blocks or excavation stopes. The contours of these blocks continuously vary during the search of the decision and required recalculation of ore reserves each times. The high speed calculation of ore reserves was achieved by the use of two-level system of geological maintenance and the method of grids. At the top level the global mineralogical and technological block’s model of a deposit is created. It is under construction on a grid 20x20 m and contains the data about sorts of ores and their technological characteristics. At the bottom level the local discrete models of the technological blocks are under construction with using methods of grids. The ore reserves in these blocks and their technological characteristics are calculated by high-speed methods of the nearest areas in units of a grid on the data of global model. As a whole it gives simple means for mineralogical and technological mapping of technological blocks and raises productivity of calculation of ore reserves.
