ABSTRACT

The knowledge of future process behaviour is very important for process monitoring and operational controlling. The procedure to calculate the future process data can be classified into three parts: to find mathematical models which describe the real behaviour, to simulate the process with these models and with the actual data and to visualize the results in process orientated graphics. By modern computer technologies simulation and visualization can be done by excellent software tools. Modeling of time variant or complex processes, however, still remains a great problem.
