ABSTRACT
For surface mining the visualisation of the planning data becoming more and more important. First digital planning models were mostly used to estimate the reserves and the shape of the ore-body. Today the inhabitants who will be affected by the opencast mine claim to be informed about what the environment will look like during the mining-operation and later on. This paper shows the use of modern mine-planning software.
