ABSTRACT
The paper motivates student’s needs for 4-dimensional visualisations of mining methods and discusses alternative techniques for their creation and presentation. PowerPoint animations were selected on the basis of relative low cost and ease of development. Three examples are briefly described. These form part of an electronic textbook of underground mining methods developed by the author.
