ABSTRACT

This thesis introduces the fundamental principles of the technology of Radon measuring, and expounds the specific methods employed in detecting parts of the underground coal gasification (UCG) stoves in the 9# and the 12# coal seam in Liuzhuang Mine, Tangshan. To improve the accuracy of the results, the measured data is identified by Computer, and also the processing menu of the disposal software is delivered. Through the processing and the analysis of the measured data, the position, the length and the moving speed of the oxidization zone and the deoxidization zone of the two stoves have been ascertained. The anastomotic result of this detection and analysis of the monitor-control system on the job site proves the reliability of the application of the technology of Radon measuring to the detecting of the movement of the gasifying working face in the process of the (UCG).
