ABSTRACT

A PC based computer model (ROCKBOLT V2.0) has been developed for predicting rock-reinforcement requirements in underground mine roadways. Using the computer program the type, pattern, and specifications of the rock-reinforcement systems can be selected for various conditions. The rock-bolt types considered include mechanical, resin, Swellex, and Dyna-Rok. ROCKBOLT V2.0 is flexible, comprehensive and user friendly. It is a useful tool for design engineers, mine operators, and scientific researchers.
