ABSTRACT
Feeding techniques of euryaline brittle-stars are reviewed and shown to be more versatile than previously recognized. Evidence is presented suggesting that arm morphology of basket-stars is related to the characteristics of the habitat. The possible role of mutable connective tissue in long term maintenance of feeding posture is discussed.
