ABSTRACT

Tests carried out on cvv Moro and Tarocco oranges, using white mineral oil at 2 Kg/hl c.p. and to examine the influence of this on the fruit quality, lead the AA. to conclude that the oil does not have those phytotoxic properties erroneously attributed to it and that it offers an efficient disinfestation, allowing the biological equilibria to be rapidly reestablished after treatment.
