ABSTRACT
The following is a description of the activities of the “Cassa per il Mezzogiorno” which is providing financial support for a special project, already in implementation, that is studying the control of citrus tree phytophages through combined biological and integrated means. It seeks both to train specialized personnel and to create suitable environments for the breeding and study of insects. It is hoped that upon completion of this project the regional administrations will take over the finanacial support that will enable this work to continue.
