ABSTRACT
This summary of the IEMVT’s (Institut d’Elevage et de Médecine Vétérinaire des Pays Tropicaux) glossina control activities does not reflect all of French activity in this field. Other bodies are also working directly or indirectly on this problem, the main ones being the Ministry of Cooperation, ORSTOM (Office de la Récherche Scientifique et Technique d’Outre Mer) and the universities.
