Use of egg-traps in a warning system against the cabbage root fly (Delia radicum)

A one year investigation with 10 egg-traps at each of 12 localities in Denmark has given the background for sending out warnings for the first and second generation of the cabbage rootfly. The traps were emptied twice a week by the growers and the results reported by telephone to the Plant Protection Centre from where the warnings were send out.
