ABSTRACT
Pleural bleed following a pleural procedure can be catastrophic. Although rates of pleural bleed following an intervention are low, the clinician should be attuned to recognise this complication. This case describes the unusual presentation of a pleural bleed following pneumothorax aspiration and its management.
