ABSTRACT

Catheter ablation in patients who have undergone prior Fontan represents one of the more daunting challenges in Pediatric and Adult Congenital Interventional Electrophysiology. The emergence of improved tools and understanding has resulted in only incremental improvement in published outcomes. The role of this treatment modality may in some instances prove to be only a temporizing measure in patients who will go on to require either surgical revision or extracardiac conduit.
