ABSTRACT

The chapter intended to measure employee performance through career planning and development, a case study of Equity Bank Rwanda PLC (Public Limited Company) in the period from January 2017 to January 2019. The research tool used by the researcher for data collection is primary data and secondary data. The research design is a survey research design and the data collected from both sources used to interpret the variables of the articles. The population of the study involved Equity Bank Rwanda employees and the researcher used Microsoft Excel sheets to interpret data collected. The result of the research shows the positive relationship between career planning and development and the employee's performance with the Equity Bank Rwanda PLC. The researcher concluded that there is a positive effect of career planning and development on employee's performance within the Equity Bank Rwanda PLC.
