ABSTRACT

The current study will examine the connection between transformational style of leadership and transactional style of leadership with the happiness of employees at the workplace. The study will also explore the relationship between leadership style and the gladness of employees at the office with firm performance. The study collects data from 218 working professionals of the IT industry. Analysis was performed using SPSS and AMOS software, using structural equation modelling. The moderation role of gender on the association between leadership style and happiness of employees at the workplace was analysed using Process Macro. The conclusions of the study establish a noteworthy association between leadership style and happiness and with happiness and firm performance. Also, a substantial association exists between the style adopted by leaders and firm performance. However, there exists no moderation outcome of gender on the association between leadership style and happiness of employees at the workplace.
