ABSTRACT
Quality education is one of the main factors that helps in the development of any country. Quality in teaching is connected with the happiness levels of teachers. This paper mainly focuses on the happiness levels of female teachers at institutes of higher education in Delhi. The research paper throws light on factors that bring happiness to a female teacher. Happiness brings a range of positive emotions, including pleasure, pride, satisfaction, and commitment. With these factors, teachers can contribute a lot to the development of students. Some suggestions given at the end of this study can be used to increase levels of happiness in teachers within these institutes for the betterment of students.
