ABSTRACT

Artificial Intelligence (AI), be it Machine Learning (ML) or advanced Computer Vision (CV) has brought a paradigm shift in the healthcare sector both with software algorithms and IoT-enabled hardwares. The combination of AI and Internet of Things (IoT) is making a new branch of emerging technology known as Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT). This new combination of AI technology with IoT infrastructure to achieve more efficient IoT operations, improve human-machine interactions and enhance data management and analytics. AI and nanotechnology’s compatibility with IoT systems and medical robotics for surgery enhancement and experimental tools for research and further innovative development in biomedicine are playing important role in the healthcare system. The growth, implementation in the biomedical domain, applicability, and efficacy of Nano-AI and network of IoT in early-stage disease detection, health monitoring, nano-implants, prognoses, in fields of radiology, surgery, oncology, neurology, psychiatry, cardiology will be critically examined. This chapter discusses the extent of use, types, comparison among algorithms for suitable clinical useability, various networks of medical IoT combined with nanosensors to enhance the healthcare system and reshape the framework of diagnosis, detection, and prognoses in the coming medical era with Industry 4.0 upcoming by its side.
