ABSTRACT
This research paper is written in the purpose to analyse the issue of COVID-19 pandemic, especially in Indonesia, regarding the influences, challenges, and the alternative of policy solutions toward national security. The data used in this research were the secondary data and based on their characteristics, the data being used were quantitative. The technique used in data collection in this research is the documents and records by viewing and analysing the information available and provided in related websites and online articles regarding the current global issue of COVID-19 pandemic. Then, the type of research analysis technique chosen is descriptive analysis. Specifically, the analysis of this research is mainly concerned with the influence of COVID-19 pandemic on law enforcement, health security, economic security, social security, food security, and supply chain management issue in Indonesia. Also, as the alternative of policy solutions related to COVID-19 issue in Indonesia, the Government can potentially identify both the case size and case location, in which this identification can be done by a combination of Rapid Diagnostic Test (RPD) and Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (PCR), or laboratory tests. Besides, breaking the chain of the coronavirus transmission is the responsibility of all parties and indeed must be properly done with good cooperation between the Government and community in the country.
