ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the basic equipment, technique, and logistics of performing a flexible fiber-optic bronchoscopy in children. The reader is provided with a reference of normal anatomy, details about the instruments, and tips for storage, transportation, and handling. There is also a discussion regarding the team approach to flexible fiber-optic bronchoscopy in children and best practices for building a program.
