ABSTRACT
Climate is an important physical factor for determination of the structure and function of any ecosystem. Both direct and indirect factors have their portion of influence on the climate. The major factors are temperature and precipitation which are known as the main driving factors governing the climate. The role of different factors on defining the climate of a specific region of Earth is pointed out in this study. Both factors are dominated by other indirect factors including wind, humidity, ocean currents, altitude, latitude, solar radiation, the obliquity and etc. Each factor is explained in detail.
