ABSTRACT

In recent years, robotics has emerged as a novel, growing, and challenging research arena. Compared to humans, robots are machines that could carry out several jobs freely and independently. Today, health systems and services have grown more complex, including various parties with mutual, disparate, and spread data and devices. On the Internet of things (IoT), robots are integrated as a thing in a network with other things over the Internet. This chapter discusses the perspective gains and obstacles of integrating robotics and the IoT in the health sector.
