ABSTRACT

A microgrid is a transference framework made of numerous smaller-scale creators that are added to a mainframe system. Planning legitimate protection for different units of microgrids is a serious problem. The reason is continuous changing of the deficiency current in the microgrid. Also, the distributed generation effects everywhere establish the way they can work in both islanded and distinctive methods. This makes regular techniques in appropriate for microgrid framework. Therefore, this chapter introduces promising security techniques that work efficiently for different purposes. It shows the nominal security field of the microgrid. Here we also consider the topology with the structure, although there are defensive difficulties confronting the use of distributed generation-prepared passage systems. At the same time, the principles and qualities of these works are summed up.
