ABSTRACT

Industry 4.0, sometimes known as the fourth industrial revolution, is one of the most promising production revolutions in history. Additive manufacturing (AM) is a critical enabler for the fourth industrial revolution, and it has the potential to have a long-term impact on the production environment. Organizational strategy is guided by the market’s progress and the rapid adoption of emerging technology. AM isn’t just for making new models; it can also be used to make things with better quality, less waste, and a production pace that can be adapted to the project’s demands. Changes in the value chain’s structure are being driven by consumer demand for individualized and sustainable production, as well as environmental regulations. Solid waste recycling will result in a 91% cut in solid waste. 3D printing alone reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 31%. The best possible case can be achieved by combining different scenarios.
