ABSTRACT
In India, about two-thirds of the population earns a living through agriculture, especially in rural areas. Also, moving to get a job in different sectors is difficult due to the lack of employment opportunities as the working population is increasing exponentially. The field of invention relates to providing farmers with a support system and application so that they can maximize the crop harvest yield using Internet of Things, Data Analytics, and Android. In particular, our system provides an application through which a farmer depending on the soil type can know whether or not the selected crop will be successful, and in addition to this, intellect about the crop suitable for the mentioned soil is also given to help the farmer with better decision-making. Owing to the favorable agro-climatic zones and huge diversity in the land and soil types, India is ranked second for its agricultural outputs.
