ABSTRACT
After being hit by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the world has learnt different ways of tackling challenges related to this virus. COVID-19 easily spreads from one person to another if basic preventive measures such as social distancing, wearing a mask and face shield, sanitization, and a few others are not followed. During this period, the shortage of the basic infrastructure to monitor COVID patients was observed, and people from various fields have attempted to find appropriate solutions. The struggle seen in the production and manufacturing of these survival kits caused widespread alarm. To overcome this problem, 3D printing technology is a feasible solution. The advantages of this technology are bulk production in less time, cost effective, and with the flexibility to change the design according to the application. This chapter mainly focuses on the various applications of 3D printing during this pandemic. Further, the production of different products, from testing kits to different kinds of masks, is presented in detail.
