ABSTRACT

The article presents the results of laboratory studies of bricks heat conductivity factor for prerevolutionary buildings constructed based on the method of continuous heat flux creation. The numerical methods with Ansys software system was used to determine R-value of outer walls of the so called “tenement buildings” of Saint Petersburg. The analysis of field studies of the heat-shielding characteristics of eleven facilities of the above category was carried out, depending on the characteristics of the space-planning decisions, volume-to-size, glazing-to-wall ratio. Specific heat-shielding characteristics of the studied buildings were obtained. The specific heat consumption for heating and ventilation has been summarized taking into account the actual schemes of heating systems and coolant parameters. The correspondence of buildings heat consumption level to current energy saving classes D and E has been revealed. The obtained data can be used during development of heating systems overhaul projects.
