ABSTRACT

Modern research in the field of the adaptation of cultural heritage sites implies local work with a particular monument or complex. In the new business environment, investment valuation of sites is becoming important. Half of the manors of the nobility have low commercial appeal. Based on the master’s thesis on the integrated adaptation of Izhora Plateau manors, it is suggested to consider a method of integrated functional association, with the creation of a hierarchical functional system (work – accommodation — recreation). This system can be used for typologically similar and different sites. The most significant and valuable site of cultural heritage serves as a key to integrated association. Additional functions can be introduced in less commercially appealing heritage sites. This system makes it possible to create multi-functional complexes that will be independent and viable.
