ABSTRACT
Big data is considered as one of the most important themes that have been reached in recent years. This is due to its diversity and its benefits if used best. However, its large size has become an obstacle to its best exploitation.
This study aims to identify the big data, types, and characteristics that distinguish them from other data. In addition, this research discusses the most relevant fields in which big data is currently used and how to improve their uses through a strategy that allows dealing with its challenges.
