ABSTRACT
With the increasing influence of the Internet in almost every sphere of our lives, Internet of Things (IoT) threats have also increased. Recent studies of damage caused by malware and virus attacks are proofs to understand the threatening impact of IoT risks. Cybersecurity experts are trying their level best to find out the loopholes and provide top-notch security both in local and shared network systems. The IoT devices should be used with the latest updates to protect them from malware threats. The devices are designed in such a way that it helps in easy use by users. Be it a big enterprise or a small business, the devices should be protected. Therefore, it is recommended to set separate local network systems for IoT devices. Using complex credentials can prevent vulnerabilities. Also, using updated software, it is possible to prevent threats. Disable unwanted features on your device as these can give a way to serious threats on your device. Before sharing confidential information over a common network system, check the connected devices properly. With a suitable firewall system, it is possible to safeguard devices in enterprises. By leveraging firewalls, it is possible to prevent unwanted traffic that may be an attack on the site. So, cybersecurity is making strategic plans to cope up with challenges.
