ABSTRACT
Nowadays, wireless sensors are emerging in the field of industrial as well as in scientific research. These wireless sensor networks are having issues regarding coverage as well as major issue of battery life span, so in this chapter issues are discussed and then algorithms are proposed to enhance the coverage and battery life of the sensor network. The techniques covered in these sections work on time management and optimal sampling rate to extend both the range and life of the network.
