ABSTRACT

This research was based on development of digital technology in the financial sector, i.e., digital systems or electronic payments. Currently, e-payments has started to be adopted by MSMEs. The purpose of this study was to find out the factors that influenced micro business owner perceptions in using e-payment in Bandung City. The variables used in this study were benefits, ease of use, security, trust, self-efficacy and consumer perception. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and the sample size was 185. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result of partial test showed that benefits, ease of use, and trust did not have significant influence on perceptions to use e-payment as opposed to security and self-efficacy. The result of simultaneous test showed that benefit, ease of use, security, trust and self-efficacy significantly influenced consumer perception on using electronic payments.
