ABSTRACT

For sustainable development, the selection of Base Transceiver Station construction should consider points of view from all stakeholders. Mobile operators consider the best location from a maximum profit standpoint for the long term, considering the variables of government interest, the suitability of land use and environmental allocations. It is necessary to analyze the decision-making in the appropriate location selection, from the view-point of government, operators, or other relevant stakeholders. This study used an empirical approach based on statistical methods in the multi-criteria decision-making system. The data arranged in the form of variables then elaborated to be the factor analysis of these variables to obtain which variables that play a role in the construction of BTS. Based on the value of eigenvalue of both factors, the cumulative percentage of both factors is 80.61 percent, it can be concluded that the formed factors are enough to represent the diversity of variables – the origin variable.
