ABSTRACT
Environmental sampling can involve a wide variety of methods. This chapter focuses on those sampling systems related more toward “drilling engineering” than, for example, simple push core sampling systems for acquiring shallow surface samples. Such systems are typically associated with those systems requiring a drilling “rig” or surface system controlling the down-hole tools.
