ABSTRACT

Entrepreneurs are the main actors in economic growth. Entrepreneurship is a solution to reducing unemployment in Indonesia. The Bandung city government is organizing a new entrepreneur acceleration program in the city of Bandung from 2014–2018. In general, the constrain found that entrepreneurs still lack capability and knowledge in business. This study aims to determine the impact of entrepreneurial competence on entrepreneurial success and how much influence the entrepreneurial competence has on business success with the business environment as a moderator variable in entrepreneurship in Bandung. This research uses quantitative methods, with 100 samples using SEM-PLS analysis techniques. The results showed that entrepreneurial competence had a significant effect on business success.
