ABSTRACT

Data from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) explains that 100 million people in Indonesia still need a loan of US $ 70 billion. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence behavioral intentions in using fintech lending using a modified UTAUT2 model which adds perceived credibility as an external factor. Data were collected using a questionnaire with 403 fintech lending users in Indonesia. We analyzed data using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3.2.9 Software. The results of this study indicate there are four factors in the modified UTAUT2 model that influence user behavioral intentions in using fintech loan applications: habit, perceived credibility, social influences, and performance expectations. In the moderator variable, age does not moderate any factors, whereas gender only moderates habits. These findings are expected to help the company in the field of fintech lending to develop and increase the number of users of fintech lending applications in Indonesia.
