ABSTRACT
Four new species of Bellorchestia are described from Tasmania, Australia: B. lutruwita, B. needwonnee, B. palawakani, and B. reliquia. Distribution records are provided from extensive ecological studies of Tasmanian coastal beaches, which include the Tasmania Wilderness World Heritage Listed area in the southwest region of the state. This chapter brings together a revised generic diagnosis of Bellorchestia following recent works by Lowry (2012) and Hughes and Ahyong (2017). A key and a field guide to Australian species of Bellorchestia is provided.
